Be Proud! Be Responsible!

Blueprints approved

Be Proud! Be Responsible! aims to lower the prevalence of HIV/AIDS within inner city, African American communities. The curriculum aims to help young people aged 11-19 to make ‘proud and responsible’ decisions about their sexual behaviours. It comprises six 50-minute sessions, which can be presented over one to six days. It targets the knowledge, motivation, and skills necessary to change behaviours in ways that will reduce their risk of pregnancy or contracting HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases.
