Curiosity Corner

Curiosity Corner is a preschool programme designed for children (aged 3-4) who are at risk of school failure due to poverty. Curiosity Corner helps teachers increase language ability in children and develop high quality learning environments through the use materials, parent involvement and professional development. Teachers (with a minimum of a Master’s level education) receive two days of initial training, and six follow-up sessions with Curiosity Corner programme staff. The programme runs continuously in preschools for 38 weeks. The programme includes weekly themes, games and books.
