Early Learning and Literacy Model

ELLM is a literacy-focused curriculum and support system designed for children aged 4-5 from low-income families. It includes curriculum and literacy building blocks, assessment for instructional improvement, professional development for literacy coaches and teachers, family involvement, and collaborative partnerships. The curriculum focuses on children’s early literacy skills and knowledge and is implemented for about 90 minutes per day in addition to the regular curriculum.
